Two Tickets to Everywhere

Some people take their partner to the drive-in.

I took my dog.

Because Loki is cuter, listens better, and doesn’t judge how fast I inhale pizza.

Thanks to Movin’ 92.5, I scored a golden ticket (for one vehicle… but Loki rode free like the freeloader he is).

🚗 The Arrival

We followed the “Movie Parking ⬆️” signs that looked like someone printed them during their lunch break. When we got there, they actually measured the cars to make sure no one blocked the screen. Loki offered to be the measuring stick. They declined. Species discrimination at its finest.

🍕 Food = Priority

Two food trucks awaited us like shining beacons of grease and joy:

Trailer Smash burgers Cascadia Pizza Co.

Loki stared at both like he was ready to place an order and tip 20%. I shared a bite and suddenly he thought we were at a Michelin-star restaurant.

🎧 Movie Time

To hear the movie, you tuned into FM 91.9, which made me feel like we were part of a secret club… a secret club of people sitting in cars eating too much.

The movie was 50 First Dates, which is fitting because Loki wakes up every day like we’ve never met and potty training is brand new information.

Halfway through, he was snoozing like he’d worked a double shift.

⭐ Final Thoughts

Cloudy night, glowing food trucks, romantic comedy, sleeping dog…

Honestly? Best. Date. Ever.

No spoilers, but we ate, we laughed, Loki slept, and I highly recommend dating your dog.

Especially one who can’t talk during the movie.
