💙⚾ October baseball in Seattle: Friends & Big Vibes and Let’s play ball đź§˘âšľď¸Ź

There’s nothing quite like October baseball in Seattle. The city hums with energy, the air smells faintly of rain and roasted peanuts, and every corner of the city seems to pulse in shades of navy and teal. This wasn’t just another weekend — it was Mariners playoff weekend. And we were all in.

Friday Game 1: Game Faces and Fan Energy

We kicked things off outside the ballpark at Sluggers Grill for a few pregame drinks surrounded by friends and a packed house of die-hard fans — The energy was great, laughing, snapping selfies, and chanting “Go M’s!” before we’d even made it to the gates.

We grabbed our rally towels, and soaked in that pregame buzz that makes playoff baseball feel like a citywide holiday.

Inside the stadium, the crowd was electric — 40,000 fans moving as one. You could feel it in your chest every time the team took the field. The smell of garlic fries, BBQ smoke, and Ivar’s chowder filled the air.

Beers were flowing, rally towels were waving, and somehow, we even made it onto the Jumbotron! The entire section lost its mind — pure joy and chaos in HD.

Sunday Game 2: Beer, Ballpark Food & Big Screens

Friday’s game one didn’t go our way — a tough loss that left the whole stadium buzzing with nervous energy. But by Sunday’s game two, the vibe had completely shifted. You could feel the crowd willing the Mariners to win — every cheer, every chant, every standing ovation felt like fuel. It was loud, it was electric, and when that final out sealed the victory, the place absolutely erupted. The M’s were heading to Detroit, and Seattle sent them off in style.

Friday Game 5: Shirts, Stories & a Cool Encounter

This was it — the chance to clinch and make history.

Somewhere between innings, we met the guy in the now-famous “Dump 61 Here” shirt — yes, the same one who caught Cal Raleigh’s home run ball in Detroit. Mariners legend status confirmed. He was every bit as awesome in person — chatting with fans, laughing, and totally embodying the spirit of the team.

We rocked our own signature playoff looks. Mine said, “Might as well go the whole f*ing thing,” which felt like the exact motto Seattle was living by that weekend.

ALCS Bound & Cloud Nine

And then came the magic moment. The last out. The stadium roared, strangers hugged, and the scoreboard lit up:

“2025 ALCS Bound.”

It was pure celebration — the kind that makes your voice crack and your eyes sting a little (from joy, not the fireworks… probably). Phones lit up the stands like a sea of stars, music blasted, and it felt like all of Seattle was right there in that one shared heartbeat.

We stayed long after the final pitch, just taking it all in. The crowd didn’t want to leave — and honestly, neither did we.

Until Next Time, Seattle

As we walked back through the streets making our way to the light rail the night was alive with music, laughter, and car horns honking in rhythm. It was more than just baseball — it was a reminder of how this city comes together.

Seattle shines brightest when the M’s are playing under the lights, and tonight it was pure magic.

Here’s to cold beers, clutch hits, good friends, and weekends that remind you why you love this city. 💙💚
